Erlangen Regional Computing Center (RRZE)

The Erlangen Regional Computing Center (RRZE) is the central IT service provider of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and also supports universities in the northern part of Bavaria with advanced services. The joint HPC group of RRZE and the Department of Computer Science (Professorship for HPC) operates large HPC clusters and offers a wide range of HPC consulting from basic user support to deep involvement in research projects. The group has a strong focus on node-level performance engineering and uses a performance model-based process. In this context the group develops easy to use tools for node-level performance analysis to be applied in users’ daily work. It has a long-standing track record in teaching and education on node-level performance engineering and code modernization. [More]
